In April 2024, the SLCS water level monitoring committee installed a permanent staff gauge at a dock on Seymour Lake. The staff gauge allows our society to track the changes in the water level. We take regular readings each week, which you can observe the readings on the chart, below.​

In addition, we purchased an electronic pressure gauge, which we use to continuously monitor water level and water temperature. We are grateful  for the Wetzin'kwa grant that made the purchase of our water level measuring equipment possible.
